Hello again to all my Russell County friends and constituents. As most of you know, I am YOUR Supervisor-At-Large – the Board of Supervisor that represents the entire county. This past 4+ years have been some of the most rewarding times of my life as I have worked tirelessly to see that Russell County continues its history of being one of the best places to live in our great Commonwealth. Thank you for that opportunity and vote of confidence in 2007.

I was initially spurred into local community service, and then directly into politics, as a consequence of the tragic events of September 11th, 2001 – an event that was so beautifully commemorated and thoughtfully memorialized this past weekend – a time when we all asked of ourselves what we could do to offer help, promote healing and simply, just make things better.

As we all know too well, the whole country is currently going through some tough times and I feel that I can be of further assistance to Russell County. As we prepare to head into the next four years of uncertain times, I am seeking re-election of my current position for a second term. I would sincerely like to ask you to consider giving me the opportunity to serve you so that, together, we can get through these times with me as YOUR Supervisor-At-Large.

During the next few weeks, and in this forum, I will share with you what we have accomplished, where we currently stand and, more importantly, what we need to work toward together in the future. I thank you, in advance, for your consideration.
